Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is a volunteer organization which offers many ways to participate in our sailing activities.
CRAB offers the monthly SAILFREE event for persons with disabilities, at no cost. Just show up at Sandy Point State Park on the fourth Sunday of the month, from April through October, between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm. Participants at CRAB events happily comply with the Park's rules and policies.
Membership is offered to all, persons with disabilities and able-bodied. Members receive CRAB’s newsletters, plenty of volunteer opportunities, and invitations to sail in CRAB races. See the chart below for the various levels of Membership.
